Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for a Security Specialist to join our team As a Security Specialist you will monitor, acknowledge, and respond to incoming alarms, dispatching authorities, alternates or service as necessary. Our team provides quality security and life safety services, including installation, service and monitoring of intrusion and fire alarm systems, as well as, CCTV, card access, nurse call, intercom systems and SMART HOME systems.

As Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhere to proper alarm signal procedures
  • Enter appropriate detailed information on accounts
  • Interact with customers via phone or chat
  • Interact with dispatching authorities
  • Issuing of service tickets to appropriate departments
  • File and input documents into scanning system
  • Answer real estate help desk calls, write tickets and dispatch to vendors
  • Up sales of services to customers of $250 a month for each qualified month
  • Special projects or duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work any hours, including weekends and holidays 

 

Qualifications

What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be qualified to be licensed in all states where we conduct business
  • Excellent and effective communications (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and a professional phone manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work every weekend, extended hours, and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business
  • Experience or training in the operations of all office equipment.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Basic computer skills

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous call center experience.
  • Experience or training in security services, products and terminology
