The Opportunity:

 

We are searching for a visionary and entrepreneurial leader to join UDD as our Senior Director of Pre-Owned Pricing & Analytics. This is a unique opportunity to build a function from the ground up, shaping the pricing strategy and customer journey for our burgeoning used digital retail platform. You will be a data-driven leader with a proven track record of success in the automotive industry, and a passion for disrupting the status quo.

  • A self-starter with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • An experienced leader with a strong track record of success in a similar role, ideally within the automotive industry (5+ years).
  • A data-driven leader with a deep understanding of data analytics tools, BI tools, and the MS Suite.
  • An expert in automotive pricing strategy, with a proven ability to leverage data insights to optimize pricing models and maximize profitability.
  • An innovator with a passion for digital retail and the ability to identify and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance the customer journey.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

What You Will Do:

 

  • Develop and implement a data-driven pricing strategy for UDD's used vehicle inventory.
  • Lead the development and execution of pricing algorithms and tools.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior patterns.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate vehicle pricing.
  • Manage a team of analysts and pricing specialists (potential future hires).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pre-owned vehicle pricing and analytics.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of UDD.

 

What You Need:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or similar) or equivalent industry experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive industry.
