Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize an effective, efficient and accurate system for monitoring all incoming and outgoing units that require transportation
  • Process orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels
  • Coordinate with the procurement, inventory and sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders
  • Ability to answer transportation calls including nights and weekends
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Work closely with the inventory team and a representative at the store level to ensure vehicles are dropped safely
  • Assist the director with creating and maintaining proper goals within the department
  • Establish reliable lines of contact with the management team as well as at the store level with sales, service and recon
  • Work closely with payables to complete all payments accurately and timely
  • Develop and network with new companies to ensure we are getting the most cost effective and professional transportation

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry, especially in transportation and logistics
  • Understanding of Dealertrack, Central Dispatch and vAuto
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
