SUMMARY: As a Senior Marketing Specialist - Events, you will manage and execute tradeshows and local events, including sales events, educational workshops, and webinars. This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Plan and manage execution of all aspects of local events (event agenda, materials, content, logistics, registration and promotions).
  • Sign up for shows, plan show services and logistics, booth samples and displays.
  • Test equipment and pack crates for trade shows, ensuring all necessary items are included and in working order.
  • Manage event registration and participation schedule for each rep/showroom.
  • Upload event leads to our database, ensuring accurate and timely data entry to support our marketing and sales teams.
  • Track and manage marketing inventory, including brochures and swag, to maintain adequate supply levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Communicate with reps about curriculum and showroom needs.
  • Support other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of marketing or event planning experience required, BA preferred.
