Phoenix Senior Living is seeking an Operations Specialist to join the team


The Operations Specialist acts as the interim Executive Director for any vacant positions or during transition in the community. He/ She manages the community based on Phoenix policies, procedures and guidelines and is fully knowledgeable of all state and federal regulations, guidelines and reporting pertinent information to the day to day operation.

This position is 100% travel to our Phoenix portfolio and would be structured as 10 days on 4 days off.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance/Safety

  • Adheres to and enforces OSHA regulations and safety procedures
  • Practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDA (Material Safety Data Sheet) and Lookout Tag out procedures
  • Reviews all incident reports; ensures corrective actions are in place in a timely manner
  • Maintains full compliance with all laws and regulations regarding the operation of an assisted living facility
  • Secures the community's license an deposits it in accordance with regulations
  • Maintains compliance with fire drills and disaster plans
  • Investigates, monitors and reviews work-related injuries
Requirements:

Education/Experience/Licensure- Certifications

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Gerontology or other course of study that relates to service to the elderly preferred
  • 2-5 Years prior General Manager/Administrative experience preferred or 5-10 years Senior Living, Hospitality, Skilled Nursing with 5 of those years at the management level

License

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Administrator's license and willingness to obtain additional licensure
