About the Job:

Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team for a travel assignment in a medical facility. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment such as ultrasound machines, X-ray machines, and CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and clear images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient images and procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in a medical facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
