Inside Sales Representative Needed (Norcal Water Systems, Inc)


We are a Kinetico Water Systems dealer in California with an exclusive territory in six counties for the worlds most efficient water softeners and filtration systems. We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to handle our new leads and existing upgrade sales opportunities.

We generate leads for homeowners and businesses who are requesting information on how they can improve the quality of their water through online advertising and referral programs. Were looking for an organized, self-driven individual with strong sales experience and integrity, who can book those leads into appointments over the phone and handle existing customer upgrade phone sales. Our sales team handles the on-site sales and you will be working on setting water testing appointments for them with the leads that come in.

This job requires specific sales and computer experience that typical retail or restaurant sales experience is not applicable.

The job is hourly + commission.

This is not a retail position, this is a full-time job in a busy office.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Making phone calls to lead prospects which are homeowners that are pre-generated and call to set appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service in an ethical and professional manner
  • Manage provided leads
  • Provide written estimates for existing customer upgrade phone sales
  • Follow up with leads on a consistent basis
  • The primary work is in the office computer work to complete the necessary documentation for booking appointments and closing sales
  • This requires a lot of phone and computer work
  • Contacting existing customers after installations to check on their satisfaction
  • Yearly commercial customer check in calls
  • Provide support to the sales team where needed
  • Cold calling where needed
  • Setting service maintenance appointments and covering phones where needed in service department
Qualifications:


  • Valid drivers license
  • Dependable transportation
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and well organized
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Works well with the public
  • 2 + years of successful sales experience
  • Experience with Service Titan software a plus

Requirements:


  • Extremely strong computer skills are required
  • Sales experience - this job will require you to set appointments and you are "selling" the appointment. You will need to be able to follow a script and try to book appointments. This job also may require you to sell over the phone if the situation fits.
  • Ability to pass a background check and clean DMV
  • A person with organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem solver
  • Good written and verbal communication and computer skills
  • Dependable, punctual, neat
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to navigate use a web browser, and Microsoft Office products, be able to keep really great notes and organize your follow ups
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Computer typing and correct spelling is a requirement
  • Proven sales experience and ability to follow a written sales script
  • Track lead progress in our lead tracking software
