Position Overview:

FOXXSTEM is seeking a highly organized Master Project Scheduler to implement and oversee multiple project schedules. In this role, the incumbent will collaborate with team members and client leads to build resource loaded project plans, set tasks, and monitor the execution of project timelines, reporting critical path and resource contention. The incumbent will also prepare project progress and performance evaluation reports and brief weekly.

Project Schedulers should possess solid industry knowledge and demonstrable experience in project scheduling. A top-notch project scheduler will be someone whose expertise leads to the successful realization of envisaged project goals.

 

Essential Functions, Responsibilities and Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Consulting with clients and technical experts to evaluate current projects and build CPM project plans, set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
  • Reviewing monthly project schedules and narratives submitted by others.
  • Analyzing time impact analysis proposals
  • Coordinating project timelines with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
  • Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
  • Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
  • Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
  • Recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
  • Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction/Science and 4+ years’ relevant work experience or Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience in Engineering/Construction project or related practice.
  • Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) will be advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Oracle P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
  • Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
  • Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
