Position Overview
ActioNet is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler who holds a Public Trust clearance. This role is designed for remote work, with the expectation that the candidate will be situated in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, as occasional client visits may be required. Your contributions will be vital to the success of various stakeholders, supporting an innovative initiative that encompasses the design, development, testing, and deployment of a complex system within an Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Scheduler, your primary duties will include:
- Developing and managing an Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) while integrating data from diverse sources.
- Assisting in the formulation and oversight of strategic plans, as well as constructing and maintaining project management plans that address scope, resources, costs, schedules, performance metrics, program management approaches, technical delivery strategies, and security measures.
- Collaborating strategically with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, customer-centric experiences.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience as a Project Scheduler.
- Proficiency in applying project management principles to develop extensive and intricate schedules.
- Experience in maintaining multiple schedules concurrently for various projects at different stages.
- Experience working closely with a Project Management Office (PMO) to enhance processes for continuous improvement.
- Expertise in establishing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and baseline schedules, including task networking, resource loading and leveling, schedule status, performance tracking, and critical path reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and industry best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SAFE / Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional, with demonstrated competency in MS Project and other Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Rally, or Jira.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management.
- Local residency in the Washington, D.C. region.
- Agile Certification.
