Aceinna is seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Application Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in power management to join our team and lead the technical support and application development for our innovative magnetic current sensor products. You'll be a vital resource, bridging the gap between customers and our engineering team, providing technical solutions, driving new applications, and ensuring the continued success of our cutting-edge sensor technology.

Job Functions:

  • Provide support to sales team and participate in technical meetings with customers
  • Review customer requests/inquiries and provide technical support to sales team for product proposal
  • Guide customers through system level testing, debugging, troubleshooting
  • Perform lab testing/characterization and document/share results
  • Conduct product technical training for customers and field engineers on application targeted topics
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and training materials related to magnetic current sensors and their integration with various power electronics systems
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to identify new opportunities for sensor adoption and market expansion
  • Participate in tradeshows and technical conferences as subject matter of expert
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams on new product development and application-specific solutions
  • Build, test and troubleshoot application boards
  • Identify and explore new applications for magnetic current sensors across various industries and applications
  • Prototype and evaluate new applications for magnetic current sensors in diverse power management systems

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics design and implementation, ideally involving magnetic current sensors and related applications
  • Experience in developing and/or supporting power management products
  • Demonstrated expertise in DC-DC, AC-DC converter design, power supply design, motor control or battery management systems
  • Semiconductor/IC background preferred
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex power system issues and analyze performance data
  • Experience with hardware testing/debugging and associated tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies
  • Working experience with software and simulation tools such as Matlab, Labview, Spice, LTSpice etc.
  • Schematic and printed circuit board design experience preferred
