About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon, working on the development and integration of advanced radar systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying issues, generating solutions, and verifying their implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
  • Design and develop radar processing algorithms
  • Develop radar software requirements
  • Analyze radar performance data using statistical and numerical methods
  • Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution
  • Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
  • Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
  • Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
  • Design experience in radar system areas such as antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
  • Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations

The salary range for this role is $96,000 USD - $200,000 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
