We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Radar Systems Integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing radar systems and software architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
- Design and develop radar processing algorithms
- Develop radar software requirements
- Analyze radar performance data using statistical and numerical methods
- Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution
- Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
- Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
- Design experience in radar system areas such as antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
- Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
- Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
- Masters/PhD in a STEM field
