We are currently looking for a talented professional who can work directly with our outside sales team to exceed customer expectations and help grow our business.  ITS is the exclusive manufacturer’s representative for Vertiv, the market leader in computer room / IT solutions. Our mission at ITS is to provide high quality solutions for our customers to keep their IT environments online and running efficiently.  These solutions include thermal and power systems for the data center and the edge, management / monitoring solutions, integrated systems, and ancillary products and services.

 

Inside Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop relationships with new and existing ITS customers and partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the equipment and services provided by ITS.
  • Create and manage sales opportunities in our CRM tool throughout the sales process.
  • Assist the outside sales team with equipment layouts, project plan takeoffs, proposals, and submittal drawings.
  • Develop an understanding of calculated airflow and cooling capacities of HVAC units at specified conditions, as well as electrical requirements provided by consulting engineers.
  • Advise end-users, contractors, consulting engineers, and IT partners on critical infrastructure equipment selections for all product lines.
  • Effectively answer customer questions and objections to assist in moving opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Execute detailed equipment orders based on project documentation including engineered drawings and specifications.

 

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

·         Clearly and confidently communicate project expectations and schedules to customers, vendors, and outside sales personnel.

·         Coordinate site visits and project meetings with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.

·         Complete scope review and pre-installation meetings with customers and subcontractors.

·         Review subcontractor bids and award projects based on complete scopes of work.

·         Assist with administrative / organizational tasks including building and updating project spreadsheets.

·         Create, maintain, and organize project folders.

·         Coordinate equipment shipping and delivery with customers.

·         Work with outside sales personnel to approve invoices and manage change orders for ongoing projects.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.  Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to accomplishing work tasks.
  • Customer focused attitude with strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through respect, support, and inclusion amongst your colleagues.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
  • Knowledge of the data center space is beneficial, but not required.
