Location: Lenexa, KS; We are looking for an employee who can work on-site and hybrid. There will also be traveling involved.

Purpose:

Drives pipeline expansion for the company by working collaboratively with VP, Business Development, internal leadership teams, and prospective CROs and sponsors to promote the JCCT brand and service offerings. Generate new meetings and opportunities, attend conferences as needed.

Job Description:

The Inside Sales Development Manager will report directly to the VP of Business Development. The role of the Insides Sales Development Manager will be to communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and changing customer directions to the organization. Utilize data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities prioritizing them from the greatest ROI. Support marketing programs and actively participate in sales challenges assigned by the VP of Business Development.

Essential Functions:

Operational/Clinical

  • Deliver measurable contributions to the business development team by identifying and engaging new accounts, clients and contacts and securing client meetings and new study opportunities.
  • Leveraging external and internal data sources, successfully identify new sponsors, CROs and business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Drive study pipeline through lead generation, qualification, pipeline development, and territory management.
  • Understand JCCTs value proposition within our target TAs and continue to refine our messaging and materials.
  • Contribute to playbooks and objection handling exercises to increase our hit rate when competing against a list of defined competitors.

Leadership/Education

  • Stay current with new site acquisitions and capabilities.
  • Support marketing initiatives by supporting trade show planning and coordination, scheduling meetings and managing follow-up items.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, new and current.
  • Participate and cooperate in cross-functional projects as requested by management.
  • Build strong internal relationships with site teams.

Administrative/Managerial

  • Track and maintain all activity in the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Ensures execution of targeted tactics to deliver business goals in coordination and orchestration with a wider range of internal cross-functional stakeholders, including Business Development Managers, IT, Finance, Marketing and Delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years or previous prospecting experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
  • Ability to identify potential targets to meet and/or exceed given company targets.
  • Strong ability to develop a territory management strategy, identify and develop sales leads within the territory, professionally present capabilities, and collaborate with others to improve the relationship internally.
  • Ability to coordinate information from and follow up with diverse sources to develop relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure professional interactions with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to collaborate and integrate with various internal departments.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, the company, and functional areas to strategically generate leads.
  • Adept at CRM utilization and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills in prioritizing daily activities and responsibilities focused on a target.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment.
  • High degree of self-motivation, drive, and desire to learn.

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires: ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about conference or meeting locations as required; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
