Gaslight Property Management is a locally owned and operated property management company. We are currently seeking a motivated Leasing Specialist to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating an exceptional first impression on phone and in person to prospects
  • Assist prospective residents by identifying their needs and help them find the perfect home
  • Screening and approving qualified applicants in accordance with company policy, Fair Housing regulations and local laws; preparing leases and associated move-in documentation
  • Preparing property for daily showings, including opening/closing offices and amenities
  • Managing the new resident move-in process to ensure a smooth transition into the property
  • Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, typing, and answering phones
  • Prospect follow-up and lead management
  • Inspect vacant units to ensure product quality prior to move-in
  • Accurate input of information into property management software
  • Maintain and update resident files

  • Proficient in office 365 & Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Effective interpersonal communicator, both orally and written
  • Active and engaging listening skills
  • Problem solving ability
  • Reliable, trainable, and initiative to learn
  • Energy and passion for work being performed
  • Compassion for others and willingness to offer help where needed

REQUIRED:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must possess reliable transportation
  • Must possess a working smart phone
  • Must pass a criminal background screening
