MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma , knowledge of Mental Health or Social Services, and at least

two years experience in budgeting skills.

Hands on experience using

Microsoft Word, Excel , and accounting software.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attends and participates in all required organization meetings and applicable trainings.

Learns accounting and computer system, payee process, rules and regulations governing the program.

Collaborates with care manager to assist in budget plan.

Maintains a professional relationship with Social Security and other community resources.

Payee day to day in accordance with policy and procedure:

Facilitates client intake process.

Establishes bank account for client.

Establishes a budget, discretionary spending and savings for client.

Records all deposits, interest and disbursements in RPM.

Maintains all support document for 2 years:

Voided checks (attach to reconciled register).

Any and all correspondence from Social Security (one side of folder).

Lease or rental agreements (other side of folder).

Utility bills (Electric, Telephone) (attach to reconciled register).

Loan agreement (establish payment tracking).

Insurance payments (make sure they have clients name on them).

Weekly,

has discretionary spending checks ready for applicable clients.

Monthly,

performs bank reconciliations, dates and signs.

Monthly,

reviews budget plan with client and has client sign reconciled register.
