Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Manager

Full Time Position: 40 hours per week

Reports to: CFO

Start Date: Immediately 

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is working as or aspires to become an IT Manager and will have complete autonomy and ownership of the IT environment. 

Our client is looking for an individual who is very organized, has created and executed IT roadmaps, has had responsibility managing multiple projects simultaneously with positive outcomes, is able to communicate effectively, maintain vendor relationships including the MSP, Hardware and software partners. 

The organization strongly believes in employee growth, as such, is willing to invest in this individual by providing tuition reimbursement, budget for 2-3 conferences per year as well as any additional investments necessary to ensure they remain educated in the IT field.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Administration and Oversight:

· Oversee the daily operations of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.

· Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of IT systems.

· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

2. IT Infrastructure Management:

· Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

· Ensure regular updates and backups of all systems.

· Monitor and manage network security, data integrity, and system performance.

3. MSP Management:

· Act as the primary point of contact for our IT Managed Service Provider (MSP).

· Monitor MSP performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

· Identify opportunities to optimize MSP services and reduce costs.

4. Strategic IT Planning:

· Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap aligned with the company's goals.

· Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.

· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains ahead of the curve.

5. IT Security and Compliance:

· Implement and manage robust security measures to protect company data and systems.

· Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

· Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.

· Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with IT budgeting and cost management.
