We are looking for a proficient and knowledgeable Information Security Analyst to enhance and uphold our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliant systems and assist in CMMC evaluations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our technical framework adheres to the rigorous standards of CMMC while providing support for CMMC evaluations of client systems. This role is primarily remote, but occasional travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and sustain the organization's CMMC infrastructure, ensuring systems are functional, secure, and efficient.
  • Virtual Environment Deployment: Set up and manage virtual environments, ensuring compliance with organizational performance and security benchmarks.
  • Secure Configuration Implementation: Enforce secure configuration standards across all systems to align with CMMC requirements, continuously monitoring and updating to address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Regular Maintenance Tasks: Conduct routine maintenance, including patch management, system updates, backups, and monitoring, ensuring all activities are documented and compliant.
  • Support for CMMC Evaluations: Assist in CMMC evaluations, serving as a team member under the guidance of the lead assessor.
  • Incident Management: Engage in incident management activities to swiftly identify, isolate, and mitigate security incidents, collaborating with the security team to enhance response strategies.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and support cloud services, ensuring compliance with CMMC and other regulatory standards while leveraging cloud solutions for improved scalability and security.
  • Documentation and Compliance Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and processes, generating reports for compliance and performance monitoring.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to support organizational goals.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 5 years of technical experience in system administration, network administration, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications:
  • CMMC Cybersecurity Professional (CCP) certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong understanding of secure configuration practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly regarding CMMC compliance, with experience in compliance assessments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting and collaborate across departments.
Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
