Leisure World of Maryland Corporation is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Information Technology Operations Manager to lead and manage all facets of our IT services. This essential role is crucial for maintaining the effectiveness, security, and strategic enhancement of our technological framework. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing our hardware and software systems, collaborating with our IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), and steering IT initiatives to align with our organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

1. IT Management and Oversight:

· Supervise the daily functions of IT systems, encompassing hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

· Guarantee the smooth operation and upkeep of IT resources.

· Formulate and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

2. Infrastructure Oversight:

· Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

· Ensure regular updates and backups for all systems.

· Monitor and manage network security, data integrity, and system performance.

3. Management of IT Service Provider:

· Serve as the primary liaison for our IT Managed Service Provider (MSP).

· Evaluate MSP performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

· Identify opportunities for enhancing MSP services and reducing expenses.

4. Strategic IT Development:

· Create and implement a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the organization's objectives.

· Plan and oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource utilization.

· Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the organization competitive.

5. Security and Compliance Management:

· Establish and manage robust security protocols to safeguard company data and systems.

· Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.

· Conduct regular security evaluations and risk assessments.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

· At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience in overseeing IT infrastructure and services.

Skills and Competencies:

· In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and associated technologies.

· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

· Proficient in managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.
