This position is perfect for an enthusiastic IT expert eager to contribute to an engineering team engaged in innovative modeling, simulation, and other technologies that support vital government missions.

The Radar Signal Processing and Simulation operations focus on the design, development, and analytical assessment of system performance, as well as systems engineering for advanced radar, communication, and weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, construct, and sustain computer information systems using Linux operating systems.
  • Engage with Information System Owners (ISO) to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Assist in the formulation and upkeep of security documentation.
  • Enhance systems to comply with DoD security regulations.
  • Conduct system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Collaborate with government security assessors and other representatives.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, including at least 3 years in Linux network administration.
  • Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD top security clearance.
  • IAT Level 2 certification (as per DoD M).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Network Configurations and architecture.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for both hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and DoD protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a small team.
  • Experience in maintaining classified systems.
  • Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience in constructing server environments.
  • Knowledge of COMSEC procedures.
