Kaufman Company, a well established, family owned, full line Industrial Supply distributor is looking for a sales representative to cover two existing territories in Eastern New England: New Hampshire and the Boston North Shore.​ 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Visiting and making contact with manufacturing and institutional customers, calling on our existing client base as well as developing new contacts.​ 
  • Bring knowledge of industry to identify customer needs and supply solutions.

  • Proactively problem solve and quickly respond to customers.

  • Think outside the box to find further opportunities.

  • Be at team player and work alongside inside sales, purchasing, accounting, and the warehouse manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ ​years’ experience selling cutting tools, abrasives, maintenance supplies, safety equipment and/or other industrial supplies.​

Requirements:

  • Must be energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and possess excellent communication skills.​
  • Possess a valid drivers' license and transportation

Position is full time.​ Compensation is a base Salary plus Commission.​ Commission will be earned immediately paid out on a monthly basis. 

Car allowance among other benefits.
