Job Title: Sales Specialist

Job Summary:

The Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting sales efforts in assigned communities, driving occupancy and revenue growth through lead generation, professional referrals, and effective sales systems implementation. This position reports to the Regional Director of Sales and requires flexibility in working hours and occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain 90-day Marketing Action Plans (MAPs) and Sales Action Plans for each community, collaborating with sales associates, Executive Directors, and Regional Directors of Operations.
  • Participate in weekly sales conference calls with regional teams, identifying and overcoming lead objections through building trusting relationships.
  • Generate quality community leads and professional referrals, managing sales and marketing data through the company CRM.
  • Ensure accurate lead source identification in the CRM, complete Quarterly Marketing Action Plans, and plan, market, and host events within and outside the community.
  • Maintain and input accurate sales information in the Weekly Dashboard, presenting the company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Promote sales activities for assigned communities, ensuring occupancy and sales productivity goals are consistently met.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field, or extensive industry sales experience (7 years+ senior living).
  • A minimum of five to seven years related sales experience in skilled, assisted living, or retirement living facility/community management, with a successful history of building sales and meeting financial goals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and familiarity with meeting financial goals specific to retirement living, assisted living, long-term care, or related fields.
  • Experience training others in sales and customer service is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and company CRM.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, writing).
  • Available to work flexible hours and/or occasional weekends.
