We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design and development of high-performance embedded systems.

Job Description:

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, testing, and implementation of embedded hardware systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, firmware developers, and product managers to deliver reliable and efficient hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:

    • Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
    • Collaborate with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
    • Develop and maintain hardware specifications, requirements, and documentation.
    • C, C++ and .NET experience
  • Prototyping and Testing:

    • Build and test prototypes of embedded hardware designs to verify performance and functionality.
    • Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
    • Perform signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and other hardware validation techniques.
  • Optimization and Improvement:

    • Optimize hardware designs for performance, cost, and power efficiency.
    • Identify areas for improvement in existing hardware systems and propose innovative solutions.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded hardware technologies and integrate relevant innovations into product development.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align hardware development with overall product goals and timelines.
    • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the production and testing of hardware components.
    • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital/analog circuit design.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in low-power hardware design.
  • Familiarity with embedded software development.
