Job Description: As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, testing, and implementation of embedded hardware systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, firmware developers, and product managers to deliver reliable and efficient hardware solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection. Collaborate with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. Develop and maintain hardware specifications, requirements, and documentation. C, C++ and .NET experience. Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes of embedded hardware designs to verify performance and functionality. Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues. Perform signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and other hardware validation techniques. Optimization and Improvement: Optimize hardware designs for performance, cost, and power efficiency. Identify areas for improvement in existing hardware systems and propose innovative solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded hardware technologies and integrate relevant innovations into product development. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align hardware development with overall product goals and timelines. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the production and testing of hardware components. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and development. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.). Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital/analog circuit design. Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
