Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our remote team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional administrative and patient support. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-focused mindset.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Patient Scheduling: Efficiently manage patient appointments and schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

  • Data Management: Accurately enter and retrieve patient information within our electronic health record system.

  • Insurance Verification: Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and benefits.

  • Patient Support: Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding local services, billing inquiries, and appointment details.

  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize various software applications including Google Suite, Zoom, and Microsoft products to streamline workflows.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably with exposure to electronic health record systems.

  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Zoom, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

High level of confidentiality and discretion when handling patient information.
