Good Samaritan Medical Center is looking for a committed Clinical Support Specialist I to become part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and examination rooms for medical assessments and procedures
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform phlebotomy
  • Administer prescribed medications as instructed
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
  • Document medical information accurately and thoroughly
  • Communicate test results effectively to patients
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies
  • Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
  • Carry out additional related tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a clinical environment is preferred
  • Proficient keyboard skills and familiarity with electronic systems

Certification and Licensure:

  • CPR certification is mandatory
  • Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within one year of employment
  • Certification from the relevant state authority is required

Compensation:

$32.20 per hour
