Position Overview:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business for All-Tec Machinery Repair. All-Tec Machinery Repair is a machine shop specializing in precision machining, fabrication and machinery repair services. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify and pursue sales opportunities, provide technical expertise to clients, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

· Identify and target potential customers in various automotive, aerospace, medical, and manufacturing industries.

· - Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

· - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.

Customer Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

· Conduct regular visits to customer sites to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

· Provide technical support and expertise to customers, addressing their machining requirements and specifications.

Quotation and Proposal Management:

· Prepare and present detailed scope documentation to the All-Tec Contracts Department for budgeting and quoting.

· Negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable deals.

· Follow up on quotes and proposals to close sales.

Collaboration and Communication:

· Work closely with the internal engineering and production teams to meet customer requirements.

· Communicate customer feedback and market insights to the management team.

· Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on sales activities and pipeline.

Quoting and Pricing:

· Work with Management to provide accurate and competitive price quotes based on customer requirements.

· Negotiate terms and pricing to secure sales agreements.

· Ensure that pricing and contract terms are in line with company policies.

Reporting and Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using Zoho CRM software.

· Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

· Ensure all customer information and sales documentation are up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the manufacturing or machining industry.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of precision machining processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
