ORBIS is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support business operations. The candidate will support multiple Program Mangers with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and levels of risk.  In addition, the candidate will support overall operations with financial projections, analysis, and business intelligence.

The ideal candidate has a background in finance, financial management and/or accounting with analytical experience. Candidate understands and is familiar with the principles of forecasting, budgeting, cost management and is well written and well spoken. This position reports to an Operations Director, supports multiple Program Manager(s), and is responsible for reporting on the financial health of open and active projects. The candidate will serve as an interface between Program Managers, Contract Management, and Billing department as well as other functional organizations.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for capturing, analyzing and reporting performance and financial outcomes, using basic technical capabilities to ensure the business transactions and results of the reporting entity are recorded, reported and forecasted accurately, in a timely manner, and in conformance with company accounting policies and control standards.
• Reports detailed accurate information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost and schedule status and presents briefings to ORBIS managers as required.
• Collaborates with PMs to maintain the project cost and schedule work breakdown structure and to ensure proper interface with site accounting and project controls functions.
• Monitors project budgets for accurate commitment & spending.
• Provides support for active projects and assists PMs to make sure projects are completed on time, within budget and contractual requirements.
• Conducts regular meetings with PMs to discuss and document updated project financial information.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 or more years of project control or related/relevant experience.
• Knowledge of schedule control, cost control and estimating principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and experience collecting, analyzing, and professionally presenting data and trends.
• Proactive, forward looking, and self-directed.
• Well-developed skills in problem solving & communications.
• Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong skill and experience in Microsoft Excel.

• A secret security clearance 

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Familiarity and experience with Navy, DoD, and Government contracts a plus.
• Working knowledge of Unanet.
• Knowledge of eCraft. 
• Data analysis and presentation using various tools such as Power BI.

Degree Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar related field.
