Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Coffee Barista to join our team at Foreigner Cafe. As a Coffee Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of coffee beverages to our customers with precision, consistency, and a friendly attitude. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patrons have an enjoyable coffee experience while upholding our commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, cold brews, and specialty drinks, following our recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, equipment, and tools to maintain a hygienic and efficient workspace.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders while providing knowledgeable recommendations about our coffee offerings.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment with care and attention to detail to produce consistently high-quality coffee drinks.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following cash handling procedures.
- Uphold Foreigner Cafe's brand image and values through excellent customer service and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Engage with customers in a courteous and respectful manner, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management when replenishments are needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by working well with team members and actively participating in team meetings.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for coffee is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work a consistent schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow as a barista.
