Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace investigations related but not limited to violations of Company policy or process, highly sensitive employee concerns, conclude investigations and provide impartial and consistent recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Manage case management software to assist with case assignments, tracking, reporting, closure, and trend analysis
- Audit employee personnel and HRIS files on a regular basis, to ensure all required postings, policies, and procedures are issued and acknowledged; ensure employees have taken assigned trainings and follow-up with employees as needed
- Manage accommodation and leave of absence requests
- Provide counsel to People Business Partners and business leaders on performance management related issues, and any other sensitive issue
- Support exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations for attrition countermeasures in collaboration with the People Business Partner team.
- Assist in supporting internal and external audits
- Prepare and analyze employee relations trends to make recommendations to ER Manager around policy, process, and/or training implementation or changes
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience with a specialization in Employee Relations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of local, state, and/or federal employment law
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to build trust and credibility across the business
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels in the organization
- Ability to influence business leaders and stakeholders and serve as trusted advisor
- Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $64,000 to $84,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.
In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
