STMCO Construction is a commercial general contractor who specializes in tenant improvement, QSR build outs, multi-family, hotel, and shopping center construction.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing company. We are looking for the right people to join our team, who is passionate about building and want to do big things. Must have experience who can jump right in the construction process, plan and supervise construction projects from start to finish. Must be able to run 5-8 tenant improvement projects at any given time. We are looking for a team player who does not shy aware from hard work and an hustler mentality to get the job done. You will also need to Sale and maintain a book of business. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Must work well with the field team superintendents and site-Foreman to keep projects moving forward and meeting deadline. Estimating is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • manage project budget and change s to ensure profitability 
  • Must know how to utilize PROCORE to keep project moving at a rapid pace
  • magae project yo a schedule and be able to make changes as necessary
  • project buyout to ensure profitability 
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Obtain permits and licenses form appropriate entities
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Work directly with in house estimator, superintendent, owner and team to ensure project is completed on time and within budget
  • Be able to trouble shoot and make quick decisions to keep the project moving forward
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Report directly to owner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in general construction management 
  • Familiarity with construction management software,
  • Procore and Microsoft Planner a must 
  • Understanding of tenant improvement and commercial projects
  • Outstanding of communications, sales, and negotiation
  • TEAM PLAYER 100%
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
