About the Role
The Staff Architect will be working with a team of architects, designers, and engineers to create world-class designs on a variety of projects, including aviation, government, and military, from concept design through completion of construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the design and technical development of projects on a daily basis.
- Prepare project budget scenarios and track hours spent on projects at the outset of each project or assignment.
- Develop effective client relationships to bring projects to fruition.
- Work directly with project managers in the conceptual development of project assignments.
- Develop and implement strategies to keep design support teams productive and efficient in production of projects.
- Responsible for check set review, code compliance, and risk management review of assigned projects.
- Collaborate with contractors to price, bid, and construct projects.
- Perform a variety of complicated problem-solving tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience (5 years preferred). Completion of master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.
- Proficient in Revit and other rendering/visualization software.
- Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $95,000.00-130,000.00 annually. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
