About the Role

The Staff Architect will be working with a team of architects, designers, and engineers to create world-class designs on a variety of projects, including aviation, government, and military, from concept design through completion of construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the design and technical development of projects on a daily basis.
  • Prepare project budget scenarios and track hours spent on projects at the outset of each project or assignment.
  • Develop effective client relationships to bring projects to fruition.
  • Work directly with project managers in the conceptual development of project assignments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep design support teams productive and efficient in production of projects.
  • Responsible for check set review, code compliance, and risk management review of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with contractors to price, bid, and construct projects.
  • Perform a variety of complicated problem-solving tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience (5 years preferred). Completion of master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.
  • Proficient in Revit and other rendering/visualization software.
  • Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $95,000.00-130,000.00 annually. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
