Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to establish operational procedures, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical insights.
  • Oversee and coordinate all phases of production, including the selection of manufacturing techniques, fabrication, and product design operations.
  • Draft performance specifications for product development or engineering projects.
  • Conduct research and evaluate customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other documentation to assess feasibility, costs, and maintenance needs.
  • Assist in the structural design of products and provide constructive feedback to design engineers regarding customer challenges and requirements.
  • Design testing apparatus and equipment, and develop testing procedures for products. Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions to maintenance teams.
  • Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets.
  • Report any deviations from schedule and budget to management.
  • Estimate costs and prepare bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, including contract documentation.
  • Establish and coordinate maintenance and safety protocols, service schedules, and material supply requirements to maintain equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting managing technically complex projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Project software is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with valves and/or hydraulics is desirable.
