Construction Project Supervisor

STMCO Construction is a reputable commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvements, quick-service restaurant build-outs, multi-family housing, hotels, and shopping center construction.
We are seeking a dedicated Project Supervisor to become a vital part of our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about construction and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, from initial planning to final execution. A strong work ethic and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets and implement changes to ensure profitability.
- Utilize PROCORE software to facilitate efficient project management.
- Adhere to project schedules and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Conduct project buyouts to maximize profitability.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning through to implementation.
- Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects.
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Work closely with in-house estimators, superintendents, and team members to ensure timely project completion within budget.
- Quickly troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- Negotiate with contractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with original plans and specifications.
- Report directly to the company owner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general construction management.
- Familiarity with construction management software, specifically Procore and Microsoft Planner.
- Understanding of tenant improvement and commercial construction projects.
- Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Strong team player mentality.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines.
- A genuine desire to contribute to a dynamic and growing team dedicated to excellence in construction.
