Position Objective

The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers

- employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plan and positive employee relations. The Human Resources Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

Major Job Functions -

· Administers benefit packages, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

· Assists with the creation of job descriptions and postings, screens applications, and schedules interviews. Participates in the interview process from as needed.

· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 filing.

· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

· Reconcile benefits statement.

· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

· Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.

· Maintains integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.

· Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

· Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties and retirement celebrations.

 

Education, Licensure and/or Experience -

· Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline of Business, Human Resources and related field of study.

· At least one year of relevant experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Demonstrated presentation skills for internal and external presentations.

· Ability to build and sustain team relationships (internally and externally).

· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

· Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS’ or related software.

· Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management.

· Ability to deduce new research themes with strong market potential.

· Prior M&A experience and demonstrated value-creation function.

Physical Job Requirements:

Office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone keypad or to write, as well as talk and hear. They are required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
