Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our daily Recruiting, Payroll, and Human Resources functions and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage part of the company's recruiting needs for various positions and departments
- Provide additional support to onboarding tasks, including follow-up with background checks, new hire orientation scheduling, and HR dashboard updates
- Create various reports for HR and other departments
- Maintain employee records by creating personnel files, updating electronic HR files, and storing confidential materials
- Collect and store offer letters and onboarding documents for placement in personnel files
- Order departmental supplies and coordinate distribution
- Arrange employee appreciation events and obtain necessary permits
- Complete I-9 forms for new hires and verify documents provided
- Enroll employees in ADP's Learning Management System and communicate with those who have overdue courses
- Create flyers for company communication as needed
- Prepare new hire orientation materials and serve as backup for New Hire Orientation
- Meet with new hires to onboard them as needed
- Create and upload 2nd floor safety inspections
- Prepare documents for employee exit meetings or mailings and may conduct exit meetings as required
- Support the Director of Human Resources with various tasks or projects
- Travel to local manufacturing facilities to meet with management or employees as required
- College or AA degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of office experience, preferably in human resources
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Must be computer literate and demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently at times
- Must be effective and professional in written and verbal forms of communication
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding HR events, documents, and other information
