Part-Time/Contract Engineering Field Inspector/Representative

In search of an independent contractor or hourly employee for construction site observation services.

Required services include:

  • Travel to various construction sites to conduct site visits and construction observation
  • Attend pre-work meetings in field or virtually
  • Observe specific portions of construction as required by Engineer
  • Take specific measurements as directed by Engineer
  • Document findings and prepare notes

Required to perform work:

  • Ability to drive to job sites within 100 miles of West Palm Beach, specifically Pahokee, FL
  • Ability to read construction documents
  • Ability to prepare notes, documentation and photos and transmit them digitally to main office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and inspection agencies, schedule site visits, etc.
  • Past experience in performing construction observation required, preferably for an engineering firm

Note: This is a part-time hourly/independent contractor position. Compensation based on past experience and abilities.
