DailyLook is a fast-growing e-commerce fashion company which is a subsidiary of Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO). DailyLook is seeking a top performing, self-motivating Photographer to join our team. In this role, you will wear two hats, playing a vital role in both the pre-production and post-production stages of our video content and e-commerce photography. This position will support the marketing team and report directly to our Creative Content Manager. This is a unique opportunity to build public company experience in marketing and fashion sector while driving growth and scale in an independently operated, creative, tech-centric startup environment.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail oriented, and confident in prioritizing multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, up on key trends, and great team player.

This is an opportunity to join a growing global team and work across a wide array of areas within the business. This is an in studio position requiring work 5 days a week in our office in Downtown LA and you’ll be reporting to the Content Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Film high-quality video footage according to project requirements
  • Edit video content using industry-standard software to create engaging and polished final deliverables for our e-commerce site, social media, and marketing campaigns
  • Use innovative techniques to bring our clothing to life on screen
  • Responsible for daily eCommerce product photography
  • Shooting, retouching, and editing, still life content, videos, and provide deliverables with quick turnaround.
  • Work closely with Creative Content Manager, Design Director, Marketing Coordinator, as well as cross-functional teams to understand and execute creative needs.
  • Participate and contribute to pulling inspiration and bring fresh new ideas & concepts to creative content.
  • Assist with pre and postproduction at eCommerce and campaign photoshoots internally and on-location.
  • Assist with post production editing photo assets shot
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in videography / photography
  • 2-5 years experience in women’s fashion ( garment and model ) videography and e-commerce photography
  • Proficiency in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,,
  • After Effects,) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva)
  • Strong understanding of lighting techniques and composition principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Communication and collaborative skills are critical
  • Must be self sufficient and meet deadlines efficiently
  • A Self Starter + Strategic Thinker
  • Ability to work creatively and independently while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Experience and able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Portfolio required showcasing photography, retouching, and video work
  • Must be able to work on-site at our headquarters in Los Angeles all week.
  • Able to move around studio equipment
