Our client seeks a driven Business Development Director to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing short and long-term business growth strategies in the Construction industry. You will work closely with division leadership devloping marketing strategies that deliver results. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding existing relationships and brand presence throughout the Southeastern Region of the US. You will successfully manage a team of two marketing individuals to assist with the organization’s growth efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with leadership, build strategic growth plans aligned with the organizational priorities.
  • Identify and develop external strategic partnerships that support business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate, manage, and expand existing key partnerships.
  • Plan, coordinate and attend client introduction and discovery meetings as necessary.
  • Assess business risks by researching and analyzing market trends, economic conditions, and competitors. Provide insights for growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate and attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage business development and marketing budget.
  • Ensure brand consistency across channels.
  • Conduct market research and develop marketing strategies to support growth plans.
  • Oversee all marketing efforts
  • Develop and manage business development training plan.
  • Support the Company's commitment to establishing strong relationships with exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Chesapeake and possess a strong understanding of our construction delivery services and core values.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities that will satisfy the overall performance objectives for the region.
  • Be capable of producing business opportunities through non-traditional activities which differentiate Chesapeake from its competitors.
  • Track, measure and report KPI’s

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong business acumen.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through strategic business partners and relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management or a related field.
