We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in heavy industrial electrical work and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
2. Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine best course of action for repairs
3. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly
4. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
5. Provide guidance and training to apprentice electricians as needed
Requirements:
1. The candidate must have a strong background in heavy industrial electrical work
2. Must know how to bend rigid pipe, install cable tray, terminate panels, pull wire, make up devises and having control knowledge is a bonus
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
4. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
5-6 years of commercial and industrial experience
