Job Summary 
The Finance Manager provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the Finance team, as well as participates in the preparation of the annual operating budgets and monthly reforecasts. This role is key in creating efficiencies, increase revenue, reduce expense and improve controls.


Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Job Duties – Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts.
  • Collaborate with team in identifying and executing analysis opportunities.
  • Manage Financial Planning & Analysis in setting up departmental and property reports, analyses and dashboards.
  • Consult with property leaders to understand needs and expectations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all ad-hoc analyses and reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Prepare and analyze actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical performance.
  • Monitor and track expenses to pre-opening budgets and communicate results to leaders.
  • Contribute to financial management of operation(s) by providing insights and recommendations on cash flow, cost identification and allocation, and risk management.
  • Adapt quickly and effectively to procedural changes and assist with other special projects.
  • Monitor standards, delegation of daily work, and running of all reports for the department.
  • Develop relationships with property leaders to ensure strong communication between FP&A team and operating departments.
  • Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience 

  • At least three years of analysis and/or budgeting experience.
  • Experience working in a Financial Analysis environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT Analytics or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
  • Working knowledge of database, analytical and financial systems.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • At least 21 years of age.

 

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • MBA or MS degree with financial and quantitative orientation.
  • At least one year of management experience in a finance setting.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting software.
