Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage accounting, grants, purchasing, and accounts payable staff within the Finance department.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process, providing documentation and support to external auditors.
  • Lead month-end close procedures, reconciling accounts and analyzing variances.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
