We are seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join our team You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers, plan their activities, check work, give feedback, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
  • Coach production staff and give feedback
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  • Must be able to give honest performance evaluations for the good of the team
  • Perform Quality Control activities, inspecting that work meets requirements
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Inventory Control & MRP activities
  • Assist in modeling production based on volume requirements and personnel

​Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required: Management or Industrial Engineering a plus
  • Strong Spreadsheet skills
  • No experience required
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good people skills

This position is onsite M-F, production hours are 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., as would be expected someone in a managerial role would be on site before the shift starts to open and after the shift ends to close. 2-3 Saturdays may or may not be required per year; depends on needs.
