Position Summary:

The Account Manager regularly travels site to site to monitor production and quality of work performed by all crews. Assists operations staff in planning, executing, and inspecting work performed. Ensures that all sites are maintained to Continuum standards and meets regularly with clients to ensure performance satisfaction. Provide clients with additional offerings per customer request or suggested improvements per site reviews

Required Experience & Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the green industry related to large commercial / corporate facilities ground operations and maintenance, with progressive supervisory experience. Including knowledge and understanding of horticultural services and landscape architecture.

· Strong Business Development background, experience in landscape industry heavily desired.

· Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and related software.

· Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or Software systems is desired.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.

· Ability to interact with co-workers, staff, tenants, contractors, and the public in a professional and positive manager.

· Ability to investigate and analyze information and solve problems in a timely manner.

· Expert knowledge and understanding of the green industry.

· Ability to read and analyze drawings, specifications, blueprints, and technical information.

· Must possess current Michigan driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Continually meet with clients to ensure satisfaction and provide estimates for suggested improvements.

· Perform weekly inspections of all assigned sites and document via site inspection sheets.

· Assist with planning and organization of lawn care and landscape site assignments.

· Assist with implementation of standardized operating procedures.

· Assist with implementation of safety policies and procedures.

· Assist operations supervisors to reduce and/or limit operating expenses while increasing production and profitability.

· Closely monitor site work to maximize efficiency while motivating staff.

· Weekly customer contact and communication.

· Manage projects, including but not limited to; lawn care, shrub and tree pruning, mulching, weeding, landscape construction, irrigation repairs and install, snow and ice management operations etc.

· Coordination with customers and property managers on projects.

· Adherence to contract specifications related to each individual job.

· Responsible for helping aid in risk management and risk reduction.

· Accurately assess and price additional client requests or suggested improvements to clients.

· Compliment and reinforce the Corporate strategic goals.
