Position Summary:

Lawn Enforcement Agency is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for our umbrella of Gainesville based businesses, including our flagship commercial landscape and construction business. This exciting role entails accountability for all functions related to finance and administration. The Finance Manager is responsible for planning and execution of financial strategies, working daily to achieve goals, and maintaining the financial health of our companies. It is expected the Finance Manager will continuously enhance departmental processes, systems, and reporting. It is essential for the Finance Manager to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and keep compliant with all applicable laws. This leadership position requires high ethics, integrity, accountability, with a passion for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, manage and hold all finance & administration resources accountable

· Planning and execution of finance & administration strategies

· Oversee and manage accounting and bookkeeping transactions

· Business guidance to CEO based on sound financial data

· Accurate and timely financial reporting to support critical decision making

· Corporate compliance and risk mitigation

Essential duties:

· Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

· Cash flow management

· Overall risk mitigation for all companies

· Reconciliation of financial accounts

· Develop, streamline, and enforce finance and administrative processes

· Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws

· Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies

· Manage company tax documents and filings

· Enforce an organized department data management system

· Positive customer and vendor service experiences

· Commute frequently to all company and branch locations

· Communicate effectively with customers, clients, employees, and management

Required qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar

· Proven work experience in business finance

· Proven work experience in business administration

· Proven experience with team leadership and management

· Experience in landscape and/or construction preferred

· In-depth knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Enterprise software

· Technical acumen for new software applications and processes

· Solid understanding and adherence of GAAP

· Willing to work onsite daily in Gainesville, FL
