Role Summary:
The Finance Analyst II serves as a vital resource for business stakeholders and Business Relationship Managers, delivering essential support for the University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and associated systems. This role is integral to the Applications, Development, and Integrations (ADI) unit within UFIT, seeking a talented individual who thrives on leveraging their innovative skills to create business solutions that enhance efficiency for core administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess both application and functional knowledge relevant to the business unit(s) and the processes they support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the functional aspects of an ERP system, including Finance and Sponsored Research functionalities such as General Ledger, Commitment Control, Banking and Cash Management, Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Grants, Contracts, Billing, and Accounts Receivable, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Engage in the complete software development life-cycle.
- Provide application support in a continuous operational environment.
- Evaluate workflows, identify process enhancements, and implement business practices to optimize system operations and develop comprehensive solutions for complex challenges.
- Conduct impact assessments for system enhancements, upgrades, and modifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for requirements gathering, business processes, and system configurations.
- Create and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures in alignment with Quality Assurance standards and best practices.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, stay informed on significant trends in software development, and maintain a record of delivering high-quality outcomes.

Salary Range:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience with Workday Financial Management, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and the ability to enhance and implement system features.
- Strong analytical skills for workflow management and process optimization.
- Experience in business analysis and facilitating requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes.
