Job Overview


POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in the functioning of a consumer finance office. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing applications, evaluating credit histories, managing payments, refinancing loans, addressing delinquent accounts, distributing promotional materials, and performing various other tasks. This individual must accurately complete most office forms and reports, as well as maintain the master cash drawer, manage bank deposits, and oversee related daily transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of the branch manager, the Client Relations Specialist:

  1. Engages in loan solicitation via telephone and in-person interactions.
  2. Handles incoming calls, processes customer payments, inputs new and refinanced loans into the loan management software, and prepares documentation for loan applications and delinquency notifications.
  3. Additional tasks include: sorting and distributing incoming mail, processing counter payments, and providing credit information to inquiring creditors and credit bureaus.
  4. Completes loan documentation and finalizes current refinancing transactions.
  5. Prepares daily cash and check deposits.
  6. Ensures accurate maintenance and balancing of cash drawer amounts and denominations on a daily basis.
  7. Generates daily loan standard reports.
  8. Contacts customers with overdue accounts.

REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience in customer service, collections, or the finance sector is preferred, and bilingual skills are advantageous. The Client Relations Specialist should possess proficient computer skills.


EDUCATION

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
