Title: Business Development Manager, International

Reports to: GM Mistral Security

Job Overview: Mistral Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for the international market. This role entails working with a diverse team, including international and domestic team members, engineering staff, end-users, and partners/clients. The position reports directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will work internally as a collaborative team member with the General Manager, Product Line Marketing Managers, Operations Manager, and externally with MSI customers, distributors, and US government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Meet MSI’s financial objectives and maximize revenues, profitability, and growth for the regions/customers under your responsibility.

· Identify evolving operational requirements, new business opportunities, and implementation activities to support MSI activities towards opportunities in the regions/customers under your responsibility.

· Develop and sustain MSI connections with end-users, procurement organizations, and distributors for the regions/customers under your responsibility.

· Direct and coordinate the promotion of products or services to open new markets, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position in the regions/customers under your responsibility.

· Build relationships and opportunities with US government agencies and officials that can finance (FMS/MFM/DCS) or support (such as Chamber of Commerce) MSI international marketing and business activities.

· Develop (in close cooperation with the GM) the strategic and tactical vision for MSI for the regions/customers under your responsibility. Develop and implement tactical work plan(s) that support the successful fulfillment of the strategy.

· Ensure customer meetings, presentations, and responses to RFI/RFP/RFQs, and other activities related to the work plan(s) are completed on time.

· Support tradeshows, customer demonstrations, and training sessions, showcasing our products' features and benefits effectively to potential clients.

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of our products and services, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Background:

· Background in business development and sales for companies selling to the law enforcement and defense markets

· Speaking and writing additional languages – preferred

· Government relations related to foreign military sales

· Education – Business Administration preferred
