Accounts Payable Specialist


Job Summary

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will provide financial and administrative support for the organization. You will process payments, verify invoices, reconcile all expenses to keep track of business finances at the AP level. As the APS you will be punctual, detail oriented, have great analytical, time management and bookkeeping skills, have the ability to act with discernment while working with sensitive and confidential information and comply with local financial and national regulations.


Duties

Collects and organizes purchases.

Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

Perform invoice and general ledger entries.

Records purchase receipts and credits.

Processes, posts, and reconciles vendor invoices.

Closes all purchase order and invoice activities.

Performs job cost allocations.

Performs business division allocations.

Reviews and validates monthly credit card statements.

Participates in monthly closing process.

Reconciles General Ledger account activity as it relates to AP.

Assist Controller as needed.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of AP experience

Strong mathematical skills

Experience with Sawin Software a plus.

Job Costing experience a plus


This is an in person position, 8-5
