Job Summary:

This position is directly responsible for the financial stability and growth of the Central Valley branch. The General Manager is responsible for aligning the strategies of the branch with the company’s overall vision and mission. This position requires a person that is highly self-motivated, with excellent time management skills, follow up, and an ability to manage multiple detailed processes and responsibilities. Individual must have excellent phone and communication skills and the need to respond with urgency to customer requests and expectations. A thorough knowledge of Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook and the NDS programs. The ability to obtain a valid Class B driver’s license. Position must have a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must reside in the Central Valley, California area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage the revenue and growth of the Central Valley branch.

· Provide leadership and oversight to achieve the highest levels of customer service, employee satisfaction, profitability, and maintain TAP principles.

· Oversee the efficient operation of the Central Valley branch.

· Conduct monthly VFT (Vital Factor Team) meetings.

· Strong leadership skills.

· Strong time management and prioritization skills.

· Strong business development skills.

· Ability to manage people effectively.

· Strong financial and analytical skills.

· Ability to conduct business with utmost professionalism.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Work with Management VFT to set annual goals, and assist the branch in achieving those goals by building parts and service revenue.

· Work with branch sales staff to develop business within the region through the increase of customer base and revenue diversification.

· Establish rapport and good work relationships with the Company’s primary customers within the region.

· Oversee service department to ensure that customers are getting a quality product in a timely manner.

· Provide oversight, leadership and coordination to ensure Company’s safety program is being complied with.

· Assist in coordinating training of branch staff with regards to customer driven needs, service technician knowledge, and safety training.

· Continually plan and forecast manpower, facility, and equipment needs.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Address customer questions and needs promptly and professionally.

· Establish and maintain positive long term relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and business partners.

· Assist in quoting Total Clean and Haaker Service jobs as needed.

· Oversee program to manage the fleet of service vehicles. Ensure the company is in compliance with regulations, vehicle type and safety. Ensure proper maintenance and repair of all vehicles.

· Other related duties and projects as assigned by the Management VFT.

· Attend monthly Management VFT meetings.

OPERATIONS:

· Maintain routine shop communication via weekly staff meetings, and training meetings to ensure the service staff has the latest information to perform their duties.

· Coordinate/Schedule shop/field technicians as needed.

· Oversee and delegate the PM list and schedule with office staff to contact customers for service as needed and maintain a monthly roll-over of PM’s of less than 5.

· Open and close the shop as needed.

· Work with factory representation to certify that quality products are received when delivered and inspected.

· Work with factory representation to resolve product issues that arise through the life of the machine.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain “5S” standards on all vehicles and facility.

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures, report any safety issues and accidents to HR manager.

· Attend all meetings, including regular PD meetings and Safety meetings as needed.

· Deliverables include:

    • Managing Unbilled Labor Hours of all technicians and foreman
    • Managing Overtime Hours of all technicians and foreman
    • Managing Training Hours of all technicians and foreman
    • Managing Shop Billable Hours of all technicians and foreman
    • PD turnaround in less than 20 days

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Basic P&L understanding.

· Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.

· Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to detect hazardous fumes.

· Must have and be able to maintain a clean driving record.

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

· College Degree or higher.

· Prior Branch Manager in a similar industry.

· Excellent email, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel abilities. (Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time)

· Excellent P&L understanding with ability to interpret numbers to identify areas of opportunity.

· Commercial Driver’s License
